Event 6.2 Temporal Terror-Forming
"The Temptress Melody."

On the day when the world was about to turn... Disaster struck. Jasmine's nowhere to be seen; only to be informed by a zorua that appeared in front of PK.

...Jasmine's captured, and is about to be killed unless The Tao troupe can do something about it...

"... So that green pixie fairy, Jasmine right? She got kidnapped by some Zoroark that can somehow create illusions using Music, and it's our job to sneak around the trees of Illusionary forest so that we; as a team, can save her from the clutches of death." Blue asked one of the Rescuers in Tao, just to make sure that he got the right information.

They were there when PK asked for them, but he shortly left when he saw four pokemon; a Pidgey, a Ralts, a Natu, and a Charmander talking. He tried to move to them, but couldn't because of a crowd of pokemon, taller then him, blocked his path. He missed some key facts as he dashed towards them, but at least he could ask others.

"Yup, that sounds about right. Sounds dangerous huh?" The Pokemon that the Oshawott talked to was a Sawsbuck, "But I'm sure I can handle it pretty well, after all I've grown a lot the past evolution." He chuckled.

Blue did the same and lightly slapped his front left leg. "Well I'll admit, you look strong." Blue gave him a thumbs up afterwards.

"Heh thanks, I took the training from Master Foo, as he helped me get stronger. But you look strong as well too um..." The Summer Deer tilted his head and wondered about his name. "Who are you?"

The Wotter laughed a bit, as well as the Deer. They talked for a while, and didn't get each other's name. "Oh sorry my man, I'm Blue; Blue the Oshawott, we're fairly new here, as we're mercs from a landmass called Kazia." Blue explained to the pokemon, with a smile.

"Kazia eh? Sounds interesting... Oh yeah, It's nice to meet you Blue, I'm Anther: Leader of Team Trample in the Rescuers Division." Anther explained to Blue.

"Oh Really? I'm in Rescuers too; We're Va'Dorah, heh... I guess we'll be seeing each other in the mission... Oh wait, the Mission! Ah, I'm sorry Anther, but I got to get moving; have to get my partner Zach and head on over there. It's nice to meet you Anther!"

"Likewise!" The two gave each other a Bro Fist/Hoof, and went off in their separate directions.

Blue bolted to their room; it was on the 2nd floor of the Tao Tenants as it was quite the climb, and knocked on the door to their room.

Zach opened up the door and saw his partner; who was smiling, as if that he's excited for the mission to come. "Oh heya Blue, what's with the smile?" He tilted his head in wonder.

"Zach, do you still remember your Wilderness Sabbatical training; it's part of the tests to become a mercenary back at HQ? We're going to need it from where we're going." Blue replied to Zach, as he ran inside the room and prepared himself. "Jasmine's been kidnapped, it's our job as Rescuers to go and hurry to the objective spot. We can take any CoA (Course of Action), but we must follow the Zoura that came to us so that we won't get lost. Our objective is the Illusionary woods; 20 Klicks off of where we are, That Zoura Child will lead us there. From there, our job is to infiltrate the forest, until we reach a good point to strike. However, we can't go all gung-ho; for as this is a matter of life or death." Blue debriefed Zach about the mission, as he readied his blue scarf and scallop.

"Okay, from what I heard from the Zoura Kid, Mike will lead the Rescuers and merchants around the forest, while PK Takes the Rogues on the back door. However I fear that this will be more dangerous than I thought, so we need to discuss one important detail. This is risky, but It maybe our only battle plan." Zach huddled in close to Blue, as they discussed their plans.

Va'Dorah arrived at the mouth of the forest, where they noticed Mike was standing on top of a rock, just as he started to hand out instructions. "Alright people, listen up. This mission is important, make sure you listen to your superiors, that includes the Zoura, now then... everyone who is with me, we're going to sneak on through with the help of the Zoura kid, you better follow his orders; we can't have rescuers finding lost rescuers and merchants okay?" Everyone, Except Va'Dorah nodded. Mike looked towards the wotter, and the sand dragon with a glare of death. "I said... Okay????" Va'dorah noticed that Mike was looking right at them, as if they're not paying attention. They panicked a bit, and saluted Mike. "...Okay, now then let's move out troop." Mike ordered them, as the rescuers and merchants entered the forest.

The Mercs slowly made their trek inside the forest alongside a merchant team, and a rescuer team. They entered from the southeast side of the forest, as they weren't close to Mike, but they can see him moving to the trees, right next to Heatlightning's Kena. Following behind her was Tyra and Lance. They hid amongst the trees; slowly moving up to the heart of the forest. When Blue looked back to their squad, they noticed that they had fewer numbers; the merchant team was gone as well as the Rescuer team, the only one that was around was Acheru from Team Whatever. They decided to stick with him, but from afar.

Zach tailed him while Blue hopped alongside the trees as they kept an eye on him. He's their only teammate left, and if they lose him, they'll have to pull back and search for both the Merchant and Rescuer Team; going against the orders of Mike, as well as compromising the objective; they're not going to leave anyone behind. They eventually ended up in a circle area, where a shiny snorunt stood, and the Achen looked like he was in shock. Blue hid behind the tree, while Zach ducked underneath a shrub, however their eyes still locked on Acheru. From their view, they only saw him mouthed a few sentences, while the Snorunt did the same. From the look of it, They were either lovers, or one of them was royalty, while the other was the guardian, or perhaps they're related. Either way, they remained on guard for as this could be a trap, crafted by the Zoroark's children.

To their dismay, They saw the golden bead on one of the Snorunt's Ribbons. Blue saw this, and acted upon it. Archeru was surprised at Blue's appearance, but was also shocked when he saw the snorunt was about to attack him with a toothy grin. Blue counter-attacked with two slashes with his shell, and ended up with a grab on the snorunt mouth. He charged up a blizzard attack on his hand, and freezed the mouth. The impact of the blizzard, made the snorunt dropped it's illusion; revealing a Zorua in it's wake. Archeru gasped, as his eyes were wide open out of shock. The Zoura wanted to call for help, but just couldn't because it's mouth was frozen shut. The Zoura, was alone in this fight.

Blue looked out to the shrub, and crossed his arms before he entered a defensive position on the Zoura; it's eyes filled with anger and darkness that would send a shiver down the spine. Archeru looked at that same location Blue gazed upon, and tilted his head. Nevertheless, Archeru moved right next to Blue; and gave him the ribbon he had. He looked rather angery towards the Zoura, and wanted him to pay. Since was not carrying anything, he used Acrobatics and caused cuts along the sides, and eyelids of the Zoura, before he slammed the zoura down; hard. To the Zoura's view, Archeru had eyes of devils that caused him to muffle in fear and cry. He was about to deliver one final blow, but Blue stopped him, as Blue shook his head, and pointed him towards the heart of the forest.

Archeru knew that it wasn't their mission to kill, but to sneak in and save Jasmine. He sighed and handed the Zoura to Blue, which he subdued him by freezing him in place, and added an extra layer of ice around his mouth to remain shut. After that, he petted the Archen and called his Sand Dragon friend next to him. Once they gathered, he pointed to his two eyes, then back at his squad, as he then gestured that he should follow him. They both nodded and stood right by his side. Once ready to head off, blue smelled the air for any signs of strong "Appeal to the sense of smell." After what it felt like an eternity, he caught that smell, and began to run in the direction,

They eventually made it to where the good zorua was, as well as the focal point of the forest. It seemed that no one was around; probably because of the illusions that lingered in the woods. However it was too early to tell, so they remained on guard, as they buckled down and secured the area for the other squads.

Archeru wanted to thank Blue and Zach for their assistance, as he tried to call them. However, for some reason, they didn't turn to the Archen, nor even said anything. Blue had the ribbon the feathery velociraptor had, and wanted it back. He accidently tripped onto the good zoura, and smelled the sweetest scent that passed through his nostrils. He inquired the zoura about the smell, the pokemon then replied with a point to Zach and Blue once again. Upon further examination, the two pokemon noticed that Blue's ears were more browner. Without them noticing, he touched Blue's Ears, and felt that they were wet and dirty. That's when they saw it.

...There was Mud in their ears; both Blue's and Zach's

Before their approach to the forest

"Hm... There's something that still urks me Blue." Zach told Blue, as they stretched for the mission.

"What Zach, don't tell me you're getting the pre-mission jitters already; this isn't any different from the work we do as mercs." Blue raised his hand up to Zach.

"No, I mean... The Illusions, the Zoroark using the sense of hearing to trick us with her music, don't you think this feels a little suicidal without any preparations; considering that we can get lost for hours and die because of the illusions." Zach said his two cents to Blue.

Blue thought about it for a second; with his arms crossed and his head down to the floor. "You have a point there; we're entering enemy territory where they have the advantage of tricking us using one of our basic senses. Hm..." Blue knew that they don't have a sixth sense; that they can't detect traps like psychic pokemon can. Also since they're fairly new, they don't think that they can ask anyone for assistance. "Hm... I guess we're on our own here..." Blue and Zach put their heads together to try and see if they can increase their chances of survival. Eventually, Zach smiled and had an Idea. "Music! That's it!" Zach pounded his claws together and smiled.

"Music? what, do you want me to grab a mic and sing Rock and Roll?" Blue chuckled at Zach's unorthodoxed answer.

"No don't you see? the Zoroark's using Music to create Illusions, it means that it plays with our sense of hearing. However... what if that sense was cut off?" Zach told Blue his plan.

"Hm... ack, you're right! If we can't hear the music, then we won't fall for the illusions! Great Idea Zach!" He gave Zach a hi-five, only to realize that he's too tall for it, so instead he gave him a down-low. "Hm, I wonder how are we going to accomplish that..." Blue wondered about it, "Got it, we just need a pokemon with either hyper voice, or a loudred to yell at our ears till they ring!" Blue said out his opinion, which caused Zach to back up to a wall.

"Blue!" He yelled out to him out of shock and worry. "We don't have to lose our hearing at the ripe age of seventeen! We only have to be temporary deaf until we can stop the illusions." Zach sighed afterwards and shivered that he yelled at his partner.

"Yeah, you got a point there... oh how about this, We'll use your Mud-Shot to cloud our ears instead of eyes; cover them up with Mud." Blue changed his plan for a more safer and convenient operation; Zach knows Mud-Shot so they can use it to plug up their ears.

"Now that's a more safer plan, heh you are learning from me Blue; after all this time we spent paired together. But okay that's plan, but... That in itself is a double-edge." Zach cleared his throat and looked at Blue. "We may not fall for the Illusions when we can't hear the melody, but it'll also hinder us when we can't hear Mike, or the Zoura, so we may get lost out of our own accord." Zach thought about the consequences of not being able to hear, since they had to confirm that this could be their only way of safely moving to the forest.

"Ah true... But remember; when one sense is cut, the other senses get stronger. All I have to do is slip this sweet smelling scent onto the Zoura, and we'll be able to track him down no problem. " Blue held out a pink Vial that held the contents of a sweet smelling alora, and smiled while he swirled the contents around. "This is made out of watermel Berries, the sweet extract of course. All we have to do is coat this around his fur, and we'll be able to track him down through the sense of smell. Sounds good, partner?" Blue asked Zach, he noticed the little Gible chuckle and gave him a thumbs-up. "Heh, you see, now I'm learning from you." He petted the dragon's head, and gazed out the window they had.

"Hey Zach... We can't let our guard down; especially the Zoura who came with us for help. For some reason... I feel like this could all be one big setup for a coup d'etat. Which is why we can't trust that Zoura until we find his mother. I know I can be paranoid and all, however, This can matter the difference of life or death. So as mercs, we may have to strike the Zoroark, and all of her children down. It won't be pretty... but we may have to in case that zoura betrays us."

Blue's words echoed in both his and Zach's mind. As the zoura prepared an attack...

For Va'dorah? Or to get ready for the ambush...
